Thapelo Mokoena’s NERO Wine Brand Launches New Rosé!

Actor and entrepreneur Thapelo Mokoena @mokoenalive exemplifies the long and steady journey of building a long lasting successful brand. Over the past couple of years, we have watched him meticulously build Bakoena Brands, a company dedicated to producing a diverse range of proudly African products, spanning from wines to grooming, beauty, and wellness.

His winery brand, Nero Wine recently launched a new Rosé called, NERO Rosé. The launch was held at Nero Wine’s annual wine festival held at Fire and Ice.

Bakoena Brands’ approach to this launch is innovative and one we’re going to see more of from brands when it comes to product launches. Instead of hosting an exclusive event, they launched their new product at their annual wine festival which welcomed all NERO Wines brand enthusiasts.

This community-driven strategy allows fans to engage with the brand in a way that has been previously limited to a select few. It demonstrates inclusivity, fosters a strong community of supporters, and aligns perfectly with what consumers are seeking, as evident from social media trends.

This doesn’t imply that influencer marketing will diminish anytime soon; however, a balanced approach combining both strategies will be the difference to successful product launches.
