It’s been a beautiful season for model, environmentalist and entrepreneur Margo Fargo whose career continues to reach new heights. Just when you think you have her figured out, she pivots and gracefully so.
Margo has recently been announced as the Managing Director for model agency, 3D Management Agency. A role she says is a full circle moment having started in the industry as model and overcame some challenges.
“It feels like a full circle moment because I found myself 10 years ago in this industry and when I entered I wasn’t necessarily welcomed with open arms. So all the closed doors, all rejections, I believe has led to this point,” the beauty said in a statement announcing her new role.
Margo’s colourful career has seen her compete in the Miss Earth pageant and returning over a decade later as judge. She has launched multiple businesses and earned a spot in the 2024 Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans list. Earlier this year, she was part of the Clarins South Africa’s Skin Illusion foundation campaign as one of the faces of Southern Africa.
The new MD in town holds a BSc Consumer Sciences and a BSc Honours Consumer Sciences in Sustainability degrees, both from the University of the Free State. She is a passionate environmentalist and now she gets to use all the experience from her well over a decade career to make a difference in an industry that has contributed to her stardom.
“To be part of a legacy agency that has been around for 25 years is unreal to me.”
