In a powerful convergence of legacy and modern artistry, Foschini South Africa has unveiled its newest limited-edition collection in collaboration with renowned designer Rich Mnisi. The partnership marks a milestone moment — celebrating 100 years of Foschini and 10 years of RICH MNISI the brand, uniting two distinct yet deeply connected legacies in one bold creative statement.
For Mnisi, this collaboration is profoundly personal. “I did this for my mother, for my grandmother, for every woman who has held me, raised me and shaped me. When my mother cradled me as a little boy, she wore Foschini – a brand that became woven into the fabric of how I saw the world, my family and the strength of the women around me. Now, to collaborate with them is more than fashion – it’s a tribute, a legacy, a love letter to all the women of Southern Africa who have shaped our nations, our minds and our future. This collection is theirs and it lives in every thread,” the designer said.
The FOSCHINI x RICH MNISI collection aims to bring to life a story that transcends clothing — one that speaks to memory, identity, and power. The collection is a meeting point of past and present, honouring the women who wore Foschini across generations, while introducing a fresh wave of design innovation that celebrates contemporary African creativity.
To bring the collection to life, the Foschini and Rich Mnisi campaign is fronted by an all-star cast of women who embody both heritage and modern grace. Actress Connie Ferguson, former Miss Universe South Africa 2023 Bryoni Natalie Govender, fashion influencer and model Sarah Langa, and models Leanatte Mandisa Ndlovu and Boitumelo Rametsi.
As Mnisi’s decade of design excellence meets Foschini’s century-long heritage, this collaboration represents more than fashion — it’s a dialogue between eras, a celebration of African womanhood, and a testament to how culture and creativity continue to shape the future of style on the continent.
The collection is now available on Bash and in select stores across South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia.
