The World Economic Forum has announced its Young Global Leaders class of 2026, a cohort of under-forty leaders across sectors and regions from all over the world. The Young Global Leaders are selected from different sectors which include media, tech, public sector, entrepreneurs and artists.
118 individuals, of which 14 are Africans join the Young Global Leaders community, with more than 1,400 existing members to focus on leadership development, collaboration and impact across key global challenges. Over the next three years, they will take part in a structured leadership programme, including executive education, immersive experiences and global convenings aligned with WEF’s mission to move the state of the world forward.
