The Luxurious Marble Circus (LMC) has quickly cemented itself as one of South Africa’s most visually captivating and culturally rich festivals and this year’s edition proved just how powerful the fusion of experience, culture, and commerce can be.
Held over two days at Grounds the Venue in Muldersdrift, LMC is more than just a food and music festival. It’s a meticulously crafted playground for creativity, brand storytelling, and community; a world where luxury aesthetics meet immersive entertainment.
According to Greg Walsh, the creative mind behind The Goosebumps Company and one of the festival’s driving forces, the 2025 edition saw a remarkable 50% growth compared to its debut year. Speaking on The Inside Show Podcast, Walsh revealed that brand partners collectively spent around R40 million on activations, influencer collaborations, and custom-built experiential spaces at this year’s event; separate to investments they gave to the organisers.
“If you put it all together — between us and the brands, it’s about a hundred million Rand investment to create what you see,” Walsh shared.
This investment highlights how brands are increasingly viewing festivals like LMC as powerful marketing ecosystems — not just sponsorship opportunities, but cultural stages where creativity meets commerce.
Following the massive success of The Luxurious Marble Circus, G&G is expanding the magic to an entirely new audience. In 2026, the organisers will launch The Magical Marble Family Fest, a family-friendly spin-off designed to bring the same creative flair and immersive experiences to parents and kids alike.
Described as “a day made for giggles, bites, and fun in the sun,” the Magical Marble Family Fest promises a vibrant mix of food, music, and interactive zones; all crafted to encourage play, exploration, and connection.
The Magical Marble Family Fest like the Luxurious Marble Circus will also be in partnership with Investec.
