Glamour SA recently held it’s annual Most Glamourous Awards and the winners’ list gives a glimpse of what influence looks like now and where it’s headed. The recognition creatives are getting in spaces they have previously not been recognized signals a powerful shift on how undeniable their impact is.
Fashion is in the top three categories of the South African creator economy. Creators and influencers in fashion are driving trends and sales, and pushing boundaries. They are showing up not only as influencers but as curators, stylists, founders, advocates and ambassadors. Watching them being acknowledged across the full spectrum of their work is not only exciting but long overdue.
The inspiring music artists and actresses recognised at this year’s awards have one thing in common with the creator community, they are multidimensional talents who continue to evolve. Whether through advocacy, entrepreneurship, or exploring new creative avenues, they embody the same adaptability and depth we’re seeing in today’s most influential voices.
Their recognition reinforces how influence today is defined not just by visibility, but by versatility, impact, and authenticity.
