Content creation has evolved into a critical function across virtually every industry. From healthcare to education and tourism to name a few, organisations are increasingly relying on creators to translate their value into content that connects. Creators are no longer just entertainers; they are strategic storytellers, brand builders, and essential partners in how organisations communicate, educate, and influence in a digital-first world.
The Gates Foundation has an initiative that focuses on telling stories of people who participate in life-saving work across the globe. The initiative is called the Global Creative Council.
The council has seven content creators of different interests from all over the world who help tell these stories using evidence based and reliable content. Among them are six African creators in health, education and entertainment. The group is currently in Johannesburg, South Africa where they’re learning about the foundation’s goals for the year.
