Bonang On Why She Loves Working With Younger Creatives

Every creative, entrepreneur, influencer, content creator should be watching Bonang Matheba’s reality show, B’Dazzled currently airing on @sabc3. As much as it’s premium entertainment (because it’s Bonang), it’s a free masterclass on how to build and nurture a great brand.

Currently on its second episode, Bonang has entertainingly shown the importance of a great work ethic, having a great team, being your brand’s biggest fan, trusting yourself whilst allowing other incredible creatives to contribute in a way that brings your vision to life.

On top of being her own brand’s ambassador and everything that goes with owning such a brand, it’s inspiring and eye opening to watch Bonang tap into different roles for her BNG brand. For the new BNG Non Alcoholic variant, Bonang came up with the content concept, she wrote the script for it and she was the voice over artist.

Bonang also values the input of younger creatives whom she credits for keeping her ideas young and fresh.

“I always love to find very young people because they keep me young. What I know, what I’m used to might not be the best but if you find the right people… photographers, makeup, hair, styling, lyoungl people have a way of elevating even your vision and making things ten times better. You have to allow creatives to be creatives,” Bonang said on B’Dazzled.

If you haven’t watched it yet, we highly recommend you do.
