Filah Lah Lah Takes The Lead As The New Maybelline Africa Sub-Saharan Digital Beauty Squad Member!

If the first quarter is anything to go by, then 2025 is Filah Lah Lah's year. From music to beauty and fashion, her influence is dominating every sphere.

Filah Lah Lah, real name Reabetswe Fila Ranamane, was recently announced as one of three new members of the Maybelline Africa Sub-Saharan Digital Beauty Squad.

Maybelline Africa credited their selection of the singer by describing her as a creative at the forefront of South Africa’s pop culture, someone who resonates with the aspirations and energy of Gen Z and millennial demographic.

“Being a part of a brand like Maybelline feels very full circle to me because growing up, Maybelline was the go-to brand for experimenting with makeup. Maybelline made me feel beautiful back then as I was figuring out my girlhood, and it feels good to be part of a new generation of women leading such a fun and accessible brand,” Filah Lah Lah said on the new partnership.

Her favourite products from Maybelline New York? The Maybelline Lifter Gloss and Lifter Stix, which she says help her embrace her uniqueness and elevate her style on and off the stage.

Filah Lah Lah is also the co-cover star of the current Glamour Magazine issue and has just announced a new partnership with H&M. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for the superstar.
